Denyse’s passion about her work is centered on the healing properties of what she creates. Color is a language and pictures are a story. Denyse is instinctively fluent in both. Her whimsical line and magical style speaks to the heart of the child in all of us. Her sole goal is to harness those powers to effect a positive change of healing and happiness. Her favorite thing is to hang back at one of her shows and witness the physical reaction people have when they see her work; their spines pop up!
Denyse’s work is in several public permanent collections including Children’s Hospitals, Community Centers, Centers for Autism, dentist offices, financial institutions and Municipal buildings; all places that by nature make us feel anxious. She receives messages and emails all the time from people and parents who have been in those spaces and immediately felt comforted, happier and hopeful!
